Sabah State Assembly Member (ADUN) for Api‑Api since May 2013, and has served continuously through multiple state terms.

State Minister of Tourism, Culture & Environment, first under the WARISAN administration (2018–2020) and again since January 2023 under the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) coalition led by CM Hajiji Noor.

Served as Deputy Chief Minister III of Sabah (May–September 2020), becoming Sabah’s first Chinese woman to hold the post.
