Served as State Assistant Minister of Finance in Sabah under Chief Minister Hajiji Noor from 8 October 2020 to 26 January 2023.

Originally a member of UMNO Sabah under the Barisan Nasional coalition, but in February 2023, switched to Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (GAGASAN), a component of GRS, and was appointed Divisional Chairman for Pantai Dalit

Also held the position of Pantai Dalit Coordinator for the GRS coalition since 2020, coordinating local GRS efforts in his constituency.

Served as State Assistant Minister of Finance, Sabah from October 2020 to January 2023, under Chief Minister Hajiji Noor—helping oversee fiscal policies and allocations within the GRS administration.

Active in organizing and promoting Program Amal Jelajah Berbuka Puasa (Charity Iftar Tour), supporting not only Muslim communities but also non-Muslims across Sabah—aligning with the federal “Malaysia Madani” concept of unity and inclusivity.

Advocated extending the tour beyond Ramadan to other key national celebrations, to deliver broader social impact to underprivileged groups.

Holds the position of Executive Chairman of Innoprise Corporation Sdn Bhd, a major investment arm of Yayasan Sabah.

At a mass circumcision event at Masjid Nur Falah Mengkabong, he emphasized separating religious spaces from political agendas and encouraged leveraging mosques for community wellness—combining religious observance with social welfare outreach.
- He is now a member of Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (GAGASAN) and represents Pantai Dalit under the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) coalition, following his defection from UMNO/Barisan Nasional in February 2023. He serves as Pantai Dalit Division Chairperson for GAGASAN
