ANGIE’S MISSION
Hi! I am Angie.
Having been part of several chat groups that discuss politics, I often come across the same questions: “They’re all the same — so who should we vote for?” or “How do we know if this person is actually worth voting for?”.
Sadly, many people still cast their votes simply because everyone else is voting for a certain candidate — without really knowing that candidate’s contributions, background, or track record.
Vote Sabah is a FREE to use platform, was born from a simple belief: every Sabahan deserves access to clear and complete information about their political candidates. As of right now, there’s no single online platform that helps young voters, first-time voters, or fence sitters in Sabah make sense of who they’re voting for.
Trying to piece together scattered information is time-consuming and confusing — and there’s so much political rhetoric and biased information that it can cloud people’s judgment, especially new voters.
So, with whatever spare time I have, I decided to research, verify, and compile this information myself — and fund it out of my own pocket.
This project is deeply personal to me because I believe Sabah deserves better. I may not have wealth or influence, but I know I can still do my part — and sometimes, doing something small is better than waiting for those who can do more but don’t. I believe a better Sabah starts with an informed Sabah.
Through Vote Sabah, I hope to help more Sabahans vote wisely and push for the change we all know our home deserves.

PLATFORM’S VISION
We are building Sabah’s first trusted reference platform, empowering every Sabahan to make informed voting decisions through factual, verified profiles of political candidates that we can find through research. By creating a database, we hope to empower Sabahans to participate actively in civic life while championing transparency and accountability in politics.
