  • Actively monitored and followed up on prolonged delays in basic community projects, demanding explanations from local authorities and representing residents’ welfare needs.

  • Elected MLA for Sekong (N53) in Sabah’s 2020 State Election, winning the seat with a comfortable majority of ~1,599 votes under the WARISAN banner. This was his first term as an elected representative.

  • Former Amanah Sabah Deputy Chairman & Strategy Director, who joined WARISAN on 1 February 2020 to pursue a locally focused Sabah political agenda aligned with the Fiqh Sabahi concept.

  • Fondly known as “Cikgu Alias”, he previously served as Principal of Sekolah Assalam (a community education institute in Sandakan) and earned respect as an educator and administrator in Batu Sapi communities.

  • Active in community and environmental campaigns, frequently participating in coastal cleanup programs, civic education, and grassroots outreach in areas like Kampung Bokara and Batu Sapi.

  • Alias is fondly known as “Cikgu Alias” for his prior role as the Principal of Sekolah As-Salam in Sandakan, an institution built in 1989.

  • Before joining Parti Warisan in February 2020, he was Deputy Chairman and Strategy Director of Amanah Sabah (2015–2017).
