  • Promoted the establishment of a Skills Centre for Oil & Gas in Sipitang, tied to major investments like the SABAH O&G project, to localize employment opportunities and support youth development

  • Supports promoting sports and youth development, including school sports meets to instill discipline and unity among students in Sipitang/MSSZG 2025

  • Regularly provides community outreach support, such as yearly festive donations to over 45 churches in his district during Christmas

Anti-Hopping Legal Challenge (April 2023)

Bersatu filed a judicial review claiming that Matbali Musah (Sipitang MP), along with three other Sabah MPs, should lose their seats for leaving the party after GE15. The Speaker ruled otherwise—a decision that remains contentious.
