  • Elected as Member of Parliament (MP) for Lahad Datu since 19 November 2022, winning with a majority of 4,376 votes.
  • Served as Deputy Minister of Higher Education from 10 December 2022 to 12 December 2023.
  • Appointed Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation from 12 December 2023 onward under the Unity Government.

Political Party Affiliation

  • Initially a member of UMNO, part of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition (2000–2018).
  • Joined the Heritage Party (WARISAN) in 2018 and currently serves as Deputy Division Chief of Lahad Datu.
